You have a valid question. If I am going to travel, why should it be outside? Let me tell you why I have found exploring the outdoors so beneficial. But first I want to show you something.

What part of seeing this view in person isn't beneficial? Exactly. That is my number one reason you should be interested in traveling outdoors.
1. The views
Traveling to outdoor destinations and sleeping outdoors allows you to wake up to beautiful places like this. If you have a bucket list I would recommend adding a new section titled views. Add all the views you hope to see before it's too late. And if you are feeling like you trust me, you can add the views you want to wake up to.
2. Disconnect from the Digital Age
Cell phones, emails and social media are all the rage right now. If you go on a vacation with wifi I promise there is no way you will escape them. Forget recharging if the internet is tempting you to waste time and energy. A great way to relax is to put yourself in a place where you could't access the internet, even if you tried.
3. Everyone needs fresh air
Some people might think that being outside is an inconvienance. Yes sometimes you have to wear a coat and sometimes it's too hot for clothes, but I promise that fresh air is worth any discomfort. My grandma has a hard time getting around because she suffers from post-polio, but she still finds a way to go camping every year.
4.You will find comfort outside
Just because you are "roughing it" does not mean you will be uncomfortable. You will find something about the outdoors that calms and comforts you. Wether it's the soft chirp of the birds in the morning, or the cool breeze drifting through your tent on a hot summer night, something will make you smile.
5. Camping is easy
Compared to the hustle and bustle of work, school, kids and whatever else you might have going on, camping is easy. Sure it might take some effort to schedule, plan and pack a camping trip. But your normal day takes a lot more effort. Firgure out what works for you and get into an outdoor rythmn. Before you know it the outdoors will be a happy place that is easy for you to visit.
Trust me on this one, if you are planning on traveling, travel outside.
